Here's a bit of an update: currently on my THANKSGIVING BREAAAK!!!! Yup, a whole week dedicated to...well...MEEE (as in I get to do whatever I want). Like I have said TONZZZ of times senior year has been pretty rough, especially because of college apps, but being a lucky one over here, I have been able to go to two concerts over this terrible time. Concerts are just a little relief, a getaway from all the stress so it's pretty cool.
The first concert I went to was at a small venue for a small singer-songwriter. I have typed up a blogpost about him and I finally got to see him in concert and yes, it was EXACTLY how I pictured him. It has become one of my favorite concerts ever. And YES OF COURSE I MET HIM. I had to wait like till 1 AM to do so, but he was so very kind it was such a great experience and am glad I got to share it with my concert buddy, Julissa.

The next concert I went to was, well, a VERY different experience. There was vicious teenage girls wearing all black and felt as if it was their duty to be security. I basically got yelled at...by another teenager. And it gave me anxiety...BUT good thing my awesome strong friend, Mia, was there to tell people to shut up. It was quite horrifying, really. ANYWAYS, didn't even say the band name, it was for the 1975 and if you know who they are, then you would understand why this would happen. After that terrible hour of being yelled at, we got inside and it was completely fine...UNTIL IT ALMOST BEGAN. The crowd was absolutely terrible!!! It was the most I have been pushed EVER at a concert. I was basically second row so we stayed at our spot for 2 songs and had to leave. General admission concerts for mainstream bands ARE NOT FUN, never again. Although that happened, I did get some great picture of the almost shirtless lead singer while I was up there!!!
I also got to see one of my favorite people ever that I met through twitter because of oNE DIRECTION!!!! It really is great to meet people through the internet (sometimes); we've known each other for 5 years!!! FIVE!!!! And we met through twitter!!!! TWITTER!!! Because of One Direction!!!!! ONE DIRECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ANd those were the two concerts I went to. Pretty fun and pretty great music with pretty awesome people. Speaking of awesome people, my momma also bought me AMY POEHLER'S NEW BOOK "YES, PLEASE"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amy Poehler is li-ter-ally (Parks and Rec reference) my favorite person ever. She is so awesome, I'm in love with her. This book is my life.
I also wanted to show a bit of my sister's and mine's *~*~~*~*AESTHETIC~*~*~*~ I find that word so intriguing and funny. I'm using it for everything, ahahahahhaha. I am getting into the Christmas spirit with my big ass Santa mug, sipping his brains. So that's a bit of an update on how my life is going, sorry if you don't really care, it's totally cool, I will be complaining and ranting on another post soon!!!! Hope you all have a great holiday week =^^=

That second concert looks intense. I love the singer songwriter vibe much more, anyway. Yay for break!
